Use ‘there is’ for singular nouns and ‘there are’ for plural nouns to say that something exists.
Utilisez « there is » pour le singulier et « there are » pour le pluriel pour indiquer que quelque chose existe.

There’s a very big park in my city.

→ Il y a un très grand parc dans ma ville.

There aren’t any street markets.

→ Il n’y a pas de marchés de rue.

There are no restaurants in the station.

→ Il n’y a pas de restaurants dans la gare.

But there’s a café and a bank.

→ Mais il y a un café et une banque.
