Forming the Negative

For negatives, we use “there isn’t” or “there’s not” for singular and “there aren’t” for plural.
Pour les formes négatives, on utilise « there isn’t » pour le singulier et « there aren’t » pour le pluriel.

There isn’t a pharmacy near the hotel.
→ Il n’y a pas de pharmacie près de l’hôtel.
There aren’t any restaurants near the hotel.
→ Il n’y a pas de restaurants près de l’hôtel.
