L’« inversion » consiste à inverser l’ordre normal sujet-verbe dans une phrase pour mettre en relief.

→ Jamais je n’ai été aussi heureux de voir quelqu’un.

Not only did he win the match but he came back from a difficult start.

💡 Usage: Common in formal English, political speeches, and writing for persuasive effect.

Utilisation : Courante en anglais formel, les discours politiques et l’écrit pour un effet persuasif.

2 Formation Rule / Règle de formation

📝 Rule: Negative Adverbial + Auxiliary Verb + Subject + Main Verb

Règle : Adverbe négatif + Verbe auxiliaire + Sujet + Verbe principal
